LING

The molva is a fish of the "Gadidae" family.

Habitat

This species is common on European Atlantic coasts between Northern Scandinavia, Iceland and the Gulf of Gascogne to the south.

Features

The molva has a white, tasty, and relatively compact pulp.
The flavor can vaguely remember that of cod.

Ling threads have the same processing method and same commercial value of cod and stockfish.

Molva is an excellent protein source, and is rich in selenium.
